Nasrul-Lahi-IL-Faith Society (NASFAT) is an Islamic association that was started in Lagos, Nigeria some twenty-one (21) years ago by Muslim professionals engaged in corporate world. Today, NASFAT has become a worldwide Muslim Society with 255 branches spread across the continent. NASFAT as the society is popularly called is committed to propagation of Islam in the most exemplary way. From Lagos (Nigeria) to Washington DC (USA), Accra (Ghana) to London (UK). Our members are dedicated to the cause of Islam as a peaceful religion that is veritable to human successes here on earth and in the hereafter by providing, in addition to Islamic knowledge and guidance, qualitative western education, empowerment programmes targeted at women and youths as well as support for the less privileged members of our communities.

Nasrul-Lahi- iL- Fathi Society UK/Ireland Zone is an offshoot of Nasrul-Lahi-IL-Fathi Society, Lagos Nigeria. We are a thriving community of Muslims of Nigerian descent. We congregate regularly to improve our spirituality and awaken ourselves to both our religious and social responsibilities. The Society has four levels of authority:

  • The Board of Trustees
  • The Executive Council.
  • The Elders’ Council
  • The Mission Board

Our weekly activities include thought-provoking lectures on both Islamic and contemporary issues as well as extensive prayer sessions. We place a high premium on the need to seek a well grounded understanding of Islam and our duty to foster and maintain social harmony.

We view ourselves as an integral part of the wider society and our members are actively encouraged to exemplify the life of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and exhibit good citizenship.

We are a registered charity and in consonance with the teaching of Islam, we always endeavour to extricate our members from difficulties imposed upon them by circumstances. We also participate in charitable efforts regularly, both in the community and on a wider scale to mitigate the effects of adverse contingencies.

We have a sound and functional Madrasahs (Arabic classes) at our various branches & groups across the United Kingdom where our children and younger members are taught the basics of Islam, Qur’anic recitation and good citizenship. We also inculcate in all of our members the skills they require to ride through the storms of life and enjoin them to strive for social cohesion, tolerance and live in harmony.
